Fortress at Spijkerboor

It is the largest and most modern fortress of the Defense Line of Amsterdam. Complete with two floors, cannons and an armored revolving turret gun. The fortress is regularly open to visitors. A nice outing in the beautiful world heritage site of the Beemsterpolder!
